the fuel pressure regulator has the one port open to atmosphere, no need to connect any thing there.
The fuel cap has one vent to atmosphere and one for the return fuel line.

thanks for the reply. i will finish it tonight.one more question i had. the orange wire was supposed to hook to the green wire with the tracer on the coil. the wires on both my coils were black with a white tracer then a green and white wire runs to the tach. so i hooked to the coil wire. was this correct?

No,
the orange wire needs to soldered to one of the wires that comes from the trigger coil not the ignition coils. The wire is green/ white on one side of the quick disconnect and become black /yellow on the other side of the quick disconnect( main harness side)( forgive me if I mix up the colors I'n not home and doing this from memory) I had the orange running to the black/yellow( main harness side) on my bike. If your not sure what the trigger coil is, the wires come out of the right side magnito cover with the 3 yellow wires from the stator windings. So look for (I think it's grey colored ) quick release connector approximately under the back end of the fuel tank and solder the orange wire in there.
good luck

thanks majorecho. you saved me alot of trouble shooting. i need to pick your brain on a couple of other things. does this system have any type of memory?seems like anytime i shut the bike off then restart i am starting from scratch on the fuel map again. it will spit and sputter then after a minute or so it will run good again. overall impression is awesome. i havent hooked up to the computer yet ill wait and talk to kelly first.

I never experianced the feeling of the ecu relearning, but I know Kelly has made a few changes since my latest version. Glad to hear you got it up and running.
