Question for Boondockers NOS users.
I have a question. What kind of feel do you guys get when you hit the button. I don't think mine is set right. I feel some difference but it seems like it should hit harder. On the dyno is was a 9hp difference at the wheels. Does that sound right? Running BD with 20 shot.

Ok I can answer now! LOL
I actually like the Vortex setup with the relay switch that BD has, and still do. Usually what Kyle does at BD is reprogram the 3 traction curves and simply do a 1, 2 & 3 degree retard on those.

I wouldnt lean it out if its running right. The proper way to tune those is to adjust your dial on your manifold (micro adjustments only) and then if that doesnt take the rich out if it, vent off the air line to the carb float bowl by either drilling out your orafice caps or simply adding more vents. However, if its running right, then you will not want to lean it out.
However, if you change outside temps, be prepared to do it all over again. MAN O METER! LOL
