Default Question for Boondockers NOS users.

Are any of you BD users, using their reprogramed vortex cdi with custom curves & the relay switch? The relay switch retards the timing when on the NOS button & back to normal timing when off the NOS button. It sounds great but want to here from others using their vortex cdi & relay. Maybe BDM can reply if settled in.

Yah Glenn, I've had a used BD system that I bought off of ebay about a year ago & never installed. I thought about selling it but now I'm thinking of up grading it & installing it. I just don't want to do anything that might damage my motor. I'm not worried about the system as much as I'm worried about what I might do wrong. LOL Plus I here that stuff is addicting

Just make sure that your wearing the brain bucket with that beast and or beasts that you have. LOL I keep telling myself not to install in until I get the 730 kit. If I keep myself to that then maybe I'll get the 730 sooner. I just have that itch that needs to be scatched. Now here comes all the itch jokes.

LOL yes I did see that picture. I don't preach about the brain bucket so you won't here anything else from me about it. It's your choice to wear or not to wear, I love freedom. WOW 4.1's on the 800, can't wait to here what the 850 with lockup will do. It's a 10mil stroke + 108 bore, is that a 850 or 855?

Im running a BD 25 shot with my vortex on map one with no problems. 222 asked me why would I want to lose power by retarding the timing? He said its fine to run advanced just pay close attention to your octane and mannometer. I run 110 here at home (4500 ft.) AND 114 at sea level. Checking your plug alot helps also. Just my .02

I was hoping that BDM would have chimed in by now, maybe not settled in @ BD yet.
