At 4200', at the hottest part of summer, stock carb with an end cap runs a 162.5-167. Your lean on the top. Try going back to the stock 165 and see before you do anything else. Might just give you what you need.

i think i got taller tires, his tires are worn. i think ill go with the 165jet and wait untill the biggun cdi gets here and see how it works i think the cdi will leanit more i guess will see.

im at 2800 feet above sea level and run a 177.5 main with a yoshi full exhaust and k and n...runs really amazing and pulls all the way to the top at 78mph. Why are you guys running such small jets?

mostly because my plugs are a nice brown color but i will try goin a little higher, i am goin to texas next month so i really will need more fuel at 700 feet

The higher the altitude the less air mass = less fuel to keep a correct mixture.

At 4 thousand feet i ran my modified stock endcap and uni filter with stock jetting and it ran good (165 main) was a little rich on the bottom so i leaned out the clip position and it ran great.

Man, I have a 200 main in my DS. It wont run good with any thing smaller. Maxbomber i sent my fly wheel to rath racing and had it lightened. If you do that you will out run your brother bad. And put a cdi box on it.

200 main at what elevation and with airbox lid on or off?
