I have recently switched from 20" 9 paddle Extremes to 22" 8 paddle Extremes. What a difference! Just from looking at them the size difference is huge, much larger footprint = more flotation. I was afraid the large side wall would flex in turns while dunning, I could not feel any sidewall flex. With the new tires I can not longer launch my quad at a starting line as it will put me on my back in a second. I guess the 20" would spin allot without me even noticing it. All around ridding I would pick the 22" with no hesitation.
