Ok. Just for curiosity sakes. How much hp does everyone feel they got when they went to just cams and piston. Now I know this will vary, but it should give an average.

I feel I gained say 5hp.

And this would be after a complete stage one is already on the machine.

And just so you know were I am going with this. We figure an average of 16hp is being received from going to a stage three from a stage one.
So the difference is what porting the head will give you.

 

Oh and does anybody remember what Erics Genesis motor was producing for hp?

 

from 11.5-1 to a 14-1 i made 4.6hp no other changes.
dont look at dyno #'s.

 

what i mean is go by your dyno#s not someone elses. see YOUR gains.

Hmmm, "who to have port your head"...thats a good question. I guess you need to ask the one who can show you the biggest numbers for the particular riding/racing that you enjoy to do....especially on NOS. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
