I have had no flats, yet. (now I'm jinxed [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] ) I ride on rocky shale trails to visit old mine sites. There are a lot of sharp edges and rocks. I also crawl over boulders and up rock ledges, not to mention riding on pavement. The BRP XT stock tire, Carlisle ACT, have given me no problems and seem to be wearing well.

I noticed that Carlisle is now making a 6 ply ACT tire! When I need to replace tire, I will go to them. With my type of riding I expect to get flats and I'm suprised I haven't had any yet.

 

I just checked with all the local dealers here in Michigan and no one has a 650 and cant get it until late may or early June.so that sucks! i dont want an 800 its to much money and power. Paying for extra you would never use. The 400 would be ok but doesnt have the extra features and for 8000 bucks for old technology is kind of high.

 

hey this is kinda off topic but i just bought an 800 max xt and i wanna no what kinda tires or if theres and mods u guys can recomend for me.
