Default Wobbly Nerf Bars

I am a bit new to ATV racing so I am not sure what to expect. I just got a pair of AC propeg nerfs and they are a bit to wobbly. They are installed correctly but still are loose. I have noticed that other quads have loose nerfs as well. There has got to be some way to secure these a bit better. Any ideas?

What kind of machine do you have? I think I've heard before that the AC Propegs don't fit the best on DS650s, etc, even to the point buyers have had to fab up new brackets.

I have a set of Blackline AC Propegs with the silver netting on my YFZ450. The directions call to drill an additional hole through the nerfs and the peg and throw a bolt through there. Mine seem to wiggle a bit, but I like the sharp stainless pegs too much to really care.

I have a banshee. I bought the nerfs used but they where never on a quad so I did not get the instructions. I may try drilling a hole but was afraid it might cause a break or crack. You would think they would come up with a better way to mount them. Thanks!
