DO I need a TM45????
#1
Ok so I had a Ron Woods High comp. piston added and the head Port and Polished. I have taken my jetting up to a 200 right now and it acts like its still running lean.... I ordered a new set of snorkel tubes and the boots that connect them to the air box. I lost the other set somewhere and I just had some rags stuffed in the holes to reduce airflow but just didn't want to run right. Do you think I need to get a TM45 carb for this to run right???

I usually tell people to get either a TM 45 or TM48 before you even put cams or pistons in. The stock carb is killing your power. It needs much more air!!!

for uncompromised service and proper setup THEBOM can't be beat for buying a new one.

I love my TM 45, matter of fact I would not trade it stright across for fuel injection it works so well and has been so simple to tune an reliable.
Hightower is right about THEBOM, he has been a great help to setting up my DS, but Hightower is being modest as he got me dialed in so close with my TM 45 that I only had to mess with my main 1 size...
