05 Outlander won't start

Hey guys.

I've got on '05 Outland Max 400. Things was running great up until a month ago when I towed it up to the cottage and unloaded it. At that point it just wouldn't start. The red warning light came on and I haven't gotten it started since.

From the reading I've done, that light indicates overheating, or low oil pressure. I've ruled out overheating because it was -30 when I tried to get it going. (It's since been home in the garage and still won't start) I replaced the oil and the filter and it still won't start. The warning light remains on.

Would a faulty sensor prevent the thing from starting? Any help would be great.

Thanks guys.

I have experience with Bombardier Can Am products. You have to check everything. Make sure the batt is charged properly. Grounds. You have to understand that Bombardier and Can Am products aren't the greatest. Their electrical layouts aren't based on absolute grounds they use relative voltages for indicators and that could make for a false reading on your guages if the battery isn't properly charged or there is a loose ground. I hate to say this, but you should really go buy something by Yamaha, Honda, Polaris, Arctic Cat. Anything that is not Bombardier. I have a lot of experience with them and everything from their equipment to the people that work at their offices. It's all bad.
