No Start
UPDATE:
I figured it out Friday night. Took my time, bought a small flash light and found the notch in the crank. The timing was not even close, funny thing is it ran like that for a better part of the year.
When i first put the head on after porting last year i had broken a timing chain and there was concern that i had bent valves. It ran but the power was down compared to before the porting.
Well after properly setting the cams and doing a leakdown test with the crank locking bolt in the air was coming out of the tailpipe faster then going in.
Yes there are bent valves. I am relieved in a way to know why the power was crappy last year.
I took the motor out on Friday night and removed the head. - no marks in the piston - Thank God, cant see the valves not seating but i guess it does not take much of a leak. I will be sending the head off to Eric on Monday for valve replacement and set up.
Hope to be back on the road in a month or so.
Thanks for all your help guys.
