outy lift and checkyour belt case
#1
for everyone out there who is waiting for a high lifter or maybe don't want to spend big money. My self I upgraded my springs on my 2007 800 ltd and put 30" mudlites on and always had my tires touching the fenders. So what I did was used the small section of my original springs with a hockey puck in between the new upgraded one piece spring on the upgraded hpg shocks. the shocks are longer and you get a little stiffer rid but not that bad at all. Most guys have there spring set at high any way and don't get what they want out of the ride any way . All O did was took a pen and traced out the size of the 2 springs on both sides one is smaller then the other and used my drill press and 1/2" drill bit to groove the puck where the spring goes then took a hole saw and cut out the hole for the shock. Be care full putting her all back together. I used 2 tie downs to compress the spring to take the keepers out and in. adjuster is set on high and I love it the shocks work the way I want them to and got more clearance then i ever had. Best part of it all CHEEP AND EASY. Oh just about forgot if you did alot of snow riding check your belt case for worping she's all under waranty. ,don't want to hit the water to find out. Happy trails.
