I want to try making some new footpegs for my quad since:

1) It's easy
2) It's cheaper than buying new ones
3) I want wider than stock pegs

So what is a good width for foot pegs? The stock pegs are about 7.25" wide, I'm thinking of making 9.5" pegs. I could get almost 10.5" pegs without them sticking out past the nerfbars, but I don't know how it would look and if it would actually be useful to have them that wide.

 

Well, I ended up making them myself.

9.5inches wide.

Was quite easy, hardly costed anything (only one grinding wheel)
