Two things that would cause coolant loss.
1) Waterpump seals are common failure however since you are not finding anything funny in your oil it is most likely not the issue
2) Head gasket - This can cause coolant to burn off in the cylinder and you will never see it. Or it can pressurize your cooling system and cause you to loose coolant out of your overflow bottle. Look around your overflow bottle after the next time you go for a ride.
Ditto on the haulers. 8-paddle work well and make sure whatever paddle you go with they are 22's and not 20's. You will probably want to drop a gear on your front countershaft sprocket when going to the 22's

I also have this problem. I noticed it a long time ago, before I replaced the radiator. I have been running Redline Water Wetter with water only. My fan is on a switch, and I run it all the time once she is warmed up.
I have never seen my coolant boil over, and I have never seen any leakage. How do I determine if it is a head gasket issue?
I think if it is a head gasket, I may retire the old girl. I would love to either get a newer DS or maybe, unfortunately, a different quad all together. I just don't ride the way I used to and this thing is becoming a real money pit.
