How indepth do you want to go? dirtymax is correct you can tune the CVT in for a higher "Shift" RPM with roller weights in the variator clutch but that does not change engagement any since that is controlled by a different clutch.
We opened up the airbox alittle by drilling a 1/2" hole in the backside to let it breath more (since stock it sucks thru a little straw / rubber elbow). This will require that you richen the carb to match the additional airflow via jetting up on the main jet and needle clip position.
If you want to get into the engine, there are a bunch of tricks to be played in there, as well, that give big gains but those are more involved and not so much simple bolt on...
