My ds would start normally, after a while it got harder an harder to get the motor too run with electric, i now have to drag it behind another machine to start, there is no problem then, turning the motor over with the electric start does not work period. when i drag it to start, after a couple minutes of running it will start no problem with the electric start, i have checked all fuel/air lines for leaks, bought a carb kit, i am stumped an the mechs at the dealers cant figure it out either, please help,

 

Sounds like your valves are too tight. After running the motor the engine heats up as well as the valves allowing the starter to be able to turn the motor over. Adjust your valves.

Do a compression test. then drag it & get it started.... run it until it is up to temperature, then do another compression test.. The second test will probably be higher than the first... if it is, adjust your valves...

if they are both low, pull it apart & look at the rings..

 

the starter turns the motor over, compression test ran the same numbers hot and cold,
