Long time DS rider, checkin' in...
 

Hi guys, I haven't posted much in the last couple years, just checkin' in.
Been really busy with life work and family, all good stuff.
Got a 4 year old boy and another boy on the way, due September.

But on to the ride talk -
I still have my DS, and still ride my balls off on her. Bought her new January 2001, still alive and kickin', and still trouble free. Still stock bore, still stock stroke, still running 14:1 compression on 110 leaded sucked through a Mikuni TM45 with the front end yankin' up response of an accelerator pump that's operated via thumb throttle that's still really easy on the thumb...still.

I still dune, but my Utah/Idaho trips aren't quite as frequent as they used to be. Won't be long though, before my boy Nate is ready for it.

Have Ol'e Yellar up for sale can't ride anymore because of major back problems!!! But I'm still kicking and still build a engine now and then.Curtis called last week called back but operator wouldn't put me through I guess he is too important to talk to a" has-been"!!! Welcome back good to hear you still ride i myself haven't really been on here in a couple years either.

Nice to see you check in, I've gone months myself without remembering to check the forums. Pretty boring on here without all the drama.
Family, work and age have taken a toll on riding for me but I've still got my mostly stock 2000 DS and a couple other big bores that I couldn't pass up. I picked up a 760 on nitrous that I have less than $1300 into. The economy is still bad enough that you have to give stuff away to sell it so I have a stable full of toys that the gas is going bad in.

Good to see you checking in from time to time. Alot of the old school experience has disappeared from here. Hope to ride with you one day out west here. DS Days is at St. Anthony this year so maybe that will fit into your Flatlanders trip.

Where you been CoonAss? Glad you found time to check back in. What's next, Eaglecollector, Sandaholic, and Blackhawk crawling out of the woodwork!?! Sure do miss some of the old shennanigans that went on around here back in the day.
