Quest 650 problem
 

My quest 650 starts up and idles just fine but once the throttle is pressed nothing happens and it acts like wants to choke out. I get it to move forward very slowly by barely pressing the throttle but once i depress throttle further it spudders out and nearly stalls. It was backfiring quite often in the last few weeks before this happened.

Any insight or help would be appreciated before I take it for :(service.

Wow this can be so many things. Lets start simple. Im not trying to insult you but a good first thing to check is the chocke lever, it sounds silly but i did not notice mine had three positions when i first got it. It was doing something similar and when i pushed it very hard it moved another position i didnt know it had. Let me know what you try so we can keep trying.

hi you might have dirt in the carb when you take it apart there is a tiny gause in the bottomk and that might be bloked

I see you posted this a long time ago but if you're still having problems check the boot between the carb and the head... Mine was dry rotted and was letting too much air in... It took a lot of trial and error to figure out what was wrong.
