Damm those alky Shees!

 

Alky 830? Dual carb, +12" swing arm, ditch the lights, front brakes, fan[wait, ditch the whole radiator since it's achohol], and anything else possible. Cut the rear fenders and remove the front. Move the battery up front. Drop the whole quad about 4" and use air shocks. Super light cut front tires on 4", .125" wall wheels.

It could then be one of those drag only machine that you guys want to beat. I think that would put you all over that 2%. Anyone ready to commision me to build it for them?

Banshee on ebay has a 570 kit, fuel injection, 12 inch extended swing arm, runs on alky and too many mods to list........go check it out!

How are you getting 830cc out of the DS motor? What bore & stroke. Where does the cylinder come from? Does the OEM head work with it?

I am sorting out what mods I want for my motor right now. I was trying to keep cost down, but 830cc sounds tempting. Can the new 760cc cast be bored?

A turbo banshee I was riding with dyno'd at 180 RWHP, but torque was in the mid 80's.

A problem these 4-strokes have with banshees is the high rev's the 2-strokes pull. How can we get our rev's up above 10,000RPM?
