i got an e-mail back from ct racing and the stats arn`t to bad. with a 12 hp gain at3500 rpm and an over all hp gain of 2 hp on top. that is for the full pipe set running $400 the slip pipe on is close in performance for $260. i still need to see what the comp is going to put out in hp and for what price

Ordered my CT pipe over 3 weeks ago and I still can't get a straight answer when it will be shipped- getting frustrated. When I talked to Ron Woods Racing, they said that their whole system-headpipe and muffler would be steel. I asked why they did't use aluminum for the muffler and they gave me some lame answer about the steel muffler being more durable.(IN LAST MONTHS DIRT WHEELS THEIR AD SHOWED THE SYSTEM WITH ALUMINUM.)

Got my pipe wed. fit is very nice,I ordered the pipe with the supertrapp discs and end cap because I like the ability to be able to tune the exaust and I don't like real loud pipes. It does have a healthy rumble now. Couldn't test the pipe out yet because already had the tires changed over for sand. Got my 20x11x9 9 paddle haulers monday. Used a 250R K&N and made an adapter ring to bolt it on -real easy. Will be on the dunes in Oklahoma on fri. I will let you guys know how the bike performed come monday. can't wait!!!!!!!

I had a problem with hitting the rev. limiter too fast. I felt like as soon as the you go from the upper mid-range to the top end it would kick in too soon. It was nice having the ability to reduce the # of discs to give it more bottom end tourqe. I also had to keep the aibox lid on, it seemed to run better. I will be getting a modified rev box for it soon.

The tires hooked up great, these tires (20x11x9-9 paddle haulers)had good traction ,and would still slide when you wanted them to, but they were smaller in the overall diameter than the 20x10x10 haulers. I think that the 20x10x10 9-paddle may be the tires to run(when they become available)I was not overly impressed with the power of the CT pipe but it did dramatically increase the bottom end torque,I think the fact that I kept hitting the rev limiter bummed me out. Maybe one of the other guys who ordered the Ron Woods stage 1 can let us know how it performed? I am going to call CT to see if they have a rev box yet. Will let you know.

Does anyone know what the SAE corrected HP is at 3000 RPM and the peak HP at around 6500 RPM, for the CT pipe? I'm trying to see how much low end gain they are getting compared to other pipes/kits. Also, I want to know the increase in peak HP. Does the curve no longer drop off at the top end?
