You keep your jetting as you would if you were not running nitrous. The extra fuel is injected into the cylinder via a fuel pump and soleniod. If the system is not armed it will not add any fuel, so if your bottle is empty you still retain normal performance as long as you are not armed.

I read the directions!!!

Do you need lower compression to run NOS or will the higher comp produce a better burn and more hp?

Go with the high compression piston, You don't set your bike up for NOS, You set your NOS up for your bike. Nos is just away to get the best combustion out of your fuel, Its not a sytem like a turbo or supercharger, Its just an Additive to your fuel. Besides your only going to use the NOS on 14mins right.

That is true to a point. When you start to run large doses, the compression factor does comes into play. Best NOS compression is around 10 1/2 to 11 1/2 to 1. If you have a retard box for timing (which I haven't found yet for a DS)you can bump the compression on up.
As far as the engine goes, if you plan to run NOS (30HP and over) I would build the bottem end as strong as I cound. It loads the cylinder just like a blower or turbo does. If you don't believe me just wait till you blow the head off or the crank and rod out of it.(pass experinces on car engins)
Thanks

25HP is as high as I would trust with out mods. You still need to up date your clutch and fuel system. And when running the NOS don't get cheap on the fuel, put the good stuff in, at lease 100 octane. If you think about it,25hp NOS on a single jug is the same as 200hp on a V8.
Thanks
