I rode with a quadzilla in the dunes last summer and they are powerfull, but do to skill and experience the guy on the suzi never took the lead once ( the kid later told me he thought I was nuts! ). The same can be said about the drags mentioned elsewhere. Too many variables.

I owen both the ds650 and the lt 500 quadzilla
the lt is piped ,ported,.60 over, rad reeds &
k&n for power mods.
the ds has the full pipe from ct witch gives it a great deal more low end power . with theas two atv`s as they sit are "close" but the lt will take it in a drag not on a mx track or in the woods. this comparison is made by my riding style on both quads so i do know first hand what is in them. the 400 ex wont keep up with the ds even stock. the ban`s are close too but fall short

no harm intended to the 400 or ban`s they are still good quads even tho they are slower and have wicked flat spots in the power.

The 400ex has no flat spots in it's power, thats a fact, honda is well known for it's smooth power delivery on it's fourstrokes.

quad500/650, if your CT pipe isn't helping with the top end, you may need to re-jet your carb.
