Default Baja won't go!!!

Went to start my baja today....Dead!! I just got the thing the end of August and the battery doesn't have enough life to even run the lights.Anyone else have this problem? The dealer here isn't even in until Tuesday, so any idea how to start this thing.I'm far from being a mechanic so is there any easy way to get it going ?

I had the same problem but I replaced my battery and it happend the next day. I thought it was the stator but it wasn't. The battery would just die after a day of riding. I brought it to the deal and found out that it was the regulator under the air box. It was about $100.00 for the part. This might be your problem. As far as starting it you can jump start it off of a car battery or run down the road with a buddy of yours and kick it into gear.

But I wouldn't recommend riding with a dead battery I did and didn't relize that the battery runs the fan which helps keep it cool.

Checked all the fuses. They look fine.Contacted the dealer today and they told me to charge the battery because it might not have been charged well when I got it.Sound to easy but I'll try , if not they said they'd get a new battery for me covered under warranty but I've got a 3 hour drive to get there , so they better be willing to ship it no charge because my dodge takes about $60.00 to go that far probably get the battery cheaper.

It does have the black battery in it . I've got it on charge now .When I first hooked it on it showed no life in the battery but it's up about half way now .Keeping my fingers crossed , hoping this will work!
