Hey BLACKDS, I returned your PM. Didn't you receive it?? My comments were from my personal experience and troubleshooting conversations with Raptor720, turbo33, swytak, airraptor, and trinity...

I also have correspondence from Barnett themselves where we got into indepth conversations regarding the oil passages in the Raptor motor. I backed them into a corner and expose them for what their fibers do to the Raptor motor.....(with the help of Raptor720)

your DS motor may be different. but why take a chance.

here is one thread that may help you decide...

WHO'S RUNNING BARNETT'S

I bought the 9 disk set from Alba about a month or so ago. Intstalled them and the second outing with them they went away on me. I wasn't on the DS at the time my son was. I was told that he was sliping the clutch a lot when climbing hills. He normally rides a 2-stroke (YZ250). I explained to him that slipping the clutch on a 4 stroke is not necessary. But the damage was done. However when I removed them to install an OEM set. I noticed that they where barley used and in fact the farther into the stack I went the newer they looked. And the very last one wasn't even uses at all. I suspect the set of barnett springs in that set where week. But i'll not know that until my OEM one goes out. And even then Im not sure if i'll give it a try. I put some RWR spings in this time and it's working perfectly. SO i'll prolly stay OEM and just use RWR Springs.
