I agree with RAPTORJAY, send them a check and they'll tell you that whatever you want to hear. Ever notice how in almost every shootout the quad that is the fastest and best set up for racing (C-Dale and Predator) always loses to the more average all around, "user-friendly" quad???!!! Well, DirtWheels some of us on here actually want a racing quad not some gutless piece of sh__!

 

give bombardier credit they came out with the baja when the yellow machine had been played out in the test, with needed steering improvments,higher rev's.better tires,tach ect. now we are going to loose some weight and shorten up the wheel base, so were right in there just don't confuse our machines the small narrow mx machines that none of us wanted to buy in the first place.

 

Like Hightower said, pick up the newest atv action magazine. It has a shootout between the ds650, Raptor, Cannondale, Predator, z 400-and kfx 400, 400ex, and Banshee. They say lots of good things about the ds including,(this goes for Cannondale, Raptor, banshee, and Predator owners mainly) The ds650 is the quickest and fastest quad out of them all!!! It has a 0-30 time of 3.03 sec. 0-45 time of 6.22 sec. And 20-40 time of 3.05 sec. They said they liked the suspention and seat to handle bar height the best and said it went through woops very good. And yes it was also the most comfortable.

After hearing all the good things for once, I thought the win was going to go to the ds but of course Polaris had to of paid the big $$$$ for them to say the Predator was the best. Honestly they didn't even say much about the Predator untill the end when they said we rate the Predator best over all. I don't get it, they said more good things about the ds than the predator. But I guess it's all about the $$$$.
Just my 2 cents, and Disturbed they rated the ds better than your sh!tty scraptor!!!

I saw a shoot out with a DS, greyhound, and a bluebird. The DS won all except fuel economy. The geyhound and the bluebird tied. They were both diesels.

Really the reason is there are not a whole bunch of DS out there in comparison the the rappys, z's, 400's etc. Good quad though
