Default Why don't magazines compare the DS650 in shoot outs?

Bomb fans,

I was just wondering if you could tell me why the DS650 isn't compared to the other quads in shoot outs and what not very frequently. It's supposed to be faster than the other competitors (400EX, Z400, Raptor, Cannondale, Predator), is it not? From the figures I've seen it makes more horsepower and torque than the others by a long shot. Is it because of the weight and size of the DS650? I heard the 2004 model is supposed to be shedding a lot of weight. Sounds like that might make it the quad to beat! Just curious, I only have a dirbike right now, but I'm looking for a quad, and it seems that the 650 is the most under-rated quad out there. It's hard to find info on it compared to the others.

they do. January dirtwheels has a shootout with it.
This month ATV Sport has a Clash of the Titans shootout, and the DS has the fastest drag times of all quads made in the world today. fastest 0-30, fastest 0-45, and fastest 20-40 times. They gave her a real good review. So pack that in your pipe and smoke it Disturbed - our yellow buses beat the pants off your timebomb tranny's!

No cute little whitisizums here, the fact is that if the Manufacturer doesn't supply the Magazines with a Quad to test, then they are not included in the test.

I know, Boring responce, but true.

Whatever is newest always winds any shootout it seems.
The article in the March issue of ATV Sport does speak highly of the DS though. It didn't **** me off as bad as they usually do.
