Wow prokiwi it must be your location why they would do this most dealers in the states won't even sell you a crate bike for liability reasons so hope fully some one here works for a dealer and can answer your question. GOOD LUCK With your new ride

Thanks AZSAND , I live on the other side of the world from u guys ...down under Australia , However because of our local ripoff merchents (Dealers) It has been cheaper for me to purchase a crated bike in Orange County ,LA . and put it in a friends container coming to NZ in the next few weeks ........ obviously i dont get a warranty or any dealer backup ...but i figured if i save the equivilent of US$ 2000 then it is worth it . I managed to get the bike without all the taxes etc that u guys haver to pay .
Im looking forward to seeing some differences over the 00 i had , which kept going through fans every month ...the Bombardier agent would not warranty them so it got a little expensive . So i though , stuff it ill take my business elsewhere .
The only problem i have is how i am going to wire my 00 Graydon CDI to the new bike ...i hear the plugs are different . And when i send a request for Help to Graydon they dont even answer my emails .........
Its a shame i live so far away from them .......
Anyway thanks for the help .
If it wern't for this site i would never know anything about these things ....nobody in my country takes any interest and the dealers mechanics are still trying to work out which end is the front !! Ha...ha...
Cheers

Generally most stuff comes with all the fluids in it from the factory. You're probly going to have to hook up the battery and put the tires on it. I haven't had to uncrate an ATV but I imagine that lawnmowers are crated much like ATV's and I uncrate lawnmowers at work all the time. Usually they take about 10 to 15 mins of setup.
