I am sick and tired of bent rims...... What are the strongest rims out there? Any suggestions...... Thanks!

 

ITP or Douglas .190 with ring's and run 22" tall tires rear and 23" in front

 

I have got douglas, and have done some hard riding and some good jumping on my ds650, Im 245 pounds and have had no problems with the rims bending or anything so I would say go with douglas

 

OMF makes some killer reinforced rims.

 

They will all bend... it's just a matter of effort[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

spent 325.00 on douglas rims,.......they bent.....back ones.......

I put Douglas 190's with Holeshots on my Scrambler. I ride it pretty hard, and the terrain at Windrock in Tennessee is very rocky. With over 2000 miles in 6 months, I never once put a ding or dent in any of the rims.

I just purchased a set of Douglas red labels with the OMF rings (inner and outer) for the rear. I dented the heck out of the stockers, hopefully these will hold up. I paid $90 each + tax, which I think is a great price. I plan on waiting a bit to up grade the tires to the 22" size, unless I find some cash laying in the street. RICH

 

Rich where did ya get them at that price?

 

i read somewhere that c-dale rims will fit on a ds, since they are 1" skinnier you'd be able to run reinforcing rings on both sides
