Default please help, new Yamoto110, no manual, won't idle, carb setting

I have a new yamoto 110 (for the kids) and after two days it won't idle. so like a dunce, I tried to adjust the screw on the right side of the carb. Can some one tell me what the setting is suppose to be so I can put it back where it was? (how many turns out from all the way in/seated= ??) Thanks

BTW: is "choke on" in the up or down position?
Thanks for your help!

The choke is on in the up position. The idle swcrew is the screw with the spring on it. There is no set position but where it idles the best without it being too high or too low. The other screw is the fuel/air screw. This should be about 1 to 1.5 turns out.

The mixture screw had been set-up at the factory before shipment and is not to be reset. If necessary, refer to the adjustment as below:
1. Make sure the air cleaner is clean
2. make sure the choke lever is OFF once running and warm.
3. Warm the engine up for 3-5 minutes.
4. Turn the mixture screw clockwise until fully closed,
then turn the mixture screw 2 full turns out.
5. Adjust the idling screw until the engine idles EASILY.
6. Turn the mixture screw slightly clockwise and
counterclockwise until the highest engine REVs obtained.
7. Adjust the idling screw again until the engine idles
EASILY.
8. Repeat the step of 6 & 7 till getting the best
performance...
*ENGINE IDLES EASILY means:
The engine idling screw must be set correctly to get a
slowest engine idle(1500 rpm - 1600 rpm), but does not
cut out if you push the accelerator quickly.

Hey Thanks 2manytoys,

Got it running great with no problem on your advice... luckily, I didn't mess with the pilot screw so no need to adjust that! The choke thing had me confused and I kept trying to make it run with it "on" and that just caused fouling of the plug.

Sometime the simplest things overlooked can really throw a wrench in a good plan!
as My Grandpa use to say... "Well, Ya just don't know what ya don't know, huh!"

I'm sure you guys will be hearing from me again...but, Not too soon I hope !!
Thanks again!!!

Another thing you need to change the oil. DO NOT run the atv for long with the factory oil in it. Check ALL nuts and bolts.I highly recommend using locktite on everything because things will vibrate loose. Also recommend a K&N uni filter. The stock airbox on these are not very good and let alot of dirt into the motor. I have a part number if you want. It helps a great deal and also gives more power. These can be very reliable with the right setup and maintenance.

2manytoys,
I'll be sure to get that oil out pretty soon! Do you recommend a particular brand/type oil (wet cluch type for motorcycles or regular car oil) that won't void the warranty?

I'd sure appriciate the numbers on the Uni filter also. (I've used them in my 83 and 85 V65 Magnas).

Thanks again for your help and advice!!

The k&n filter number is ru-0160 and the outerwear is 22-8009pk.

2manytoys,
Thanks again but, I'll have to see if the S/O (future Mrs. Tomuza) will go for the upgraded K&N/Uni set-up... she's got the checkbook!!
