Dropped off my gearcase and pieces to a local aluminum welder dude and got a price of $80 to do it. I was just glad he took the job. Will post pics of when it is complete. I also ordered a couple brass 3/4" flange bushings to put in place of the weak spot. More to come.

Got the Quad started today. Carburetor needs replacing, but will hold until I am positive the Gearcase will be in functioning order once repaired.

My Gearbox has been Tig Welded and Machined for the new Brass Bushings. $80 for welding and $100 for the machining. Cost me about $10 for the bushings.

3 new bearings ordered. Need to find a source for the roller bearing that fit's in the gear itself (WD250-868). Getting closer.

Used a carb kit from a Joyner 250 Viper and was able to use the float bowl o-ring and float plunger from the kit. Seems to have done the trick. Moving on to getting the bearings installed once I get them today.

Ordered the gear roller bearing from alpha-sports as well as a new spark plug.

Got the needle bearing from Alpha sports. Took a pic of the difference of old and new.

Inserts and Bearings ready to be reinstalled. Had to Dremel some weld material for the gear to spin freely.

Hopefully I can get all this done this weekend
