Model 125 - D Help Please!

Hello everyone and thanks for the group! Guys, i just purchased my 10 year old son a 2013 model 125 D Chinese ATV, i think the name is Tao Tao??? Anyways, the person i bought it from had somehow cut the wiring harness in a few different places for unknown reasons. The ATV has been garaged since new and still looks new so i figured i would just order a new complete harness from VMC as well as new starter button/kill switch assembly. After removing the old harness and disposing of it i never thought to take pictures of where everything plugged into. Can anyone out there possibly show me pictures of what plugs on the new harness actually plug into on the quad? None of the wire colors match up and i am at a total loss. i am new to these things so any and all help is greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Stephen from W.Va.....

For the most part you should be able to lay the harness out on the bike and figure out what goes were. Most of the time the plugs will only connect to one place. Did you order a actual harness for your machine or just a generic harness?

Zrock, thanks for the info and yes sir, i ordered the OEM replacement harness from VMC. I have laid the harness out but just not sure on some of the plugs. I will try your suggestion....Thanks again!

Grab yourself a test light. One side should be hot all the time from the battery and the other will only be hot when switch is pressed.. Not sure if it really matters what side is what..
