Peace hard to find parts
Hi, I should say right up front, while I'm handy working on things, I know little to nothing about ATV's or motorcycles.
My granddaughter has a 2013 ATV and the chain keeps coming off. The sprockets seem to be lined up good. Things do not look to worn, but I'm going to try replacing the sprockets and chain. The issue is, it has a 428 chain and sprockets, but these sizes seem difficult to find. 428 - Chain 72 links 428 front sprocket 13 teeth 428 rear sprocket 33 teeth So my question is, should I change them all to some more readily acquired sizes? If so, are there any suggested sizes you guys think? Thank You, Info below on the ATV.... The sprockets might be a hard find but 428 chain is common. You buy a chain and cut it to length.
If the sprocket teeth are not looking like a hook, they are prolly fine. |
