2001 Can Am Bombardier DS650 parts quad

I have a 2001 DS650 that I took in on trade and was told it needed a new CDI. I took a chance on it and was able to get it started and it idled with some engine noise. I pulled the top end and everything looked nearly new other than the intake and exhaust valves being too tight. I reshimmed and retimed the quad, installed new exhaust gaskets, intake snorkel and carb boot and it's still knocking and won't rev. I think it spun a rod bearing or crank bearings or something.

Quad is complete minus front fenders and headlight. The rear shock is blown I believe and the rear brake doesn't have pressure. Everything else is in great condition. The seat cover is aftermarket with ugly white flames, should be recovered.

I'm leaving for Florida in a couple months so I don't have the time to part it out. Would be a great parts bike or for rebuild.

Currently located in Fort Wayne, in.

$1200 OBO
