Gate Fee: One ATV and two people allowed thru the gate at no charge
All others will pay the posted admission for the event.
Gate of Entry: Participant will enter at the west end of the Fair Ground
from the Western Road Entrance.
General Rules
1. Sign up begins at 4:00 p.m.; Pulling will begin at 6:00 p.m.
2. ATV?s WILL NOT be allowed to roam the Fair Grounds
3. Only entrants 18 YEARS OF AGE and older are able to Participate
4. All entrants must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability Form
5. All Drivers must wear a shirt, pants, shoes and a helmet.
All Machines must be in Safe Mechanical Condition

Entry Fee: $ 20.00 per hook

1.Sign up starts at 4:00 p.m, pulling begins at 6:00 p.m. All entries are stopped once the first ATV of that class hooks to the sled.
2.All participants will enter the fair grounds from the Western Road Entrance and enter the pit area through the west gate pit entrance (west end of the fairgrounds)
3.One ATV and two (2) people allowed through the west gate pit entrance at no charge. All others will pay the posted general admission fee for the event.
4.ATV?s WILL NOT be allowed to roam the fairgrounds.
5.All drivers must be at least 18 years of age.
6.All drivers must wear a shirt, pants, shoes and a helmet during pulling.
7.All machines must be in safe mechanical condition.
8.Contest is open to 4 Wheel ATVs; 2 or 4 wheel drive. 3-Wheel ATV?s will not be allowed to participate.
9.Blocked suspension allowed.
10.All drivers must supply their own clevis/Eye to hook chain to. No pulling on hitch *****.
11.Machines must have a hitch no higher than 16.5 inches to the clevis or ring.
12.Each weight class will include the weight of the machine plus the weight of the driver.
13.All ATV?s must be operated in a safe manner on and off the track. No speeding or wheelies allowed.
14.No chains, studs, or duals allowed.
15.ATV must have working brakes, fenders over the 2 rear tires, and a spring return throttle
16.The first puller in each class is the "Test Puller". He/she has the option to re-pull in third, however, he/she will be giving up their first pull in doing so. Decision to re-pull must be made before ATV leaves the track.
17.If any part of the ATV goes out of bounds during the pull, you are disqualified.
18.The puller can re-hook 1 time if shut down by the 50ft mark.
19.All pulls will start with a tight hitch. No jerking is allowed.
20.All weights to be fastened securely to the machine. The loss of any object while hooked to the sled will be a disqualification. (NO TARP STRAPS ALLOWED)
21.All ties must be pulled off to determine placing.
22.Only gas or diesel is permitted for use as a fuel. Neither nitrous oxide nor pressurized fuels are allowed.
23.At their discretion, any contestant may opt to advance to a higher weight or CC class.
24.Only one driver per machine per class.
25.Driver must remain seated on seat or fuel tank during the pull.
26.All entrants must abide by the rules. The judges will settle any discrepancies in the rules and their decisions are FINAL and must be accepted in a sportsman-like manner.
27.Each participant is responsible for lost or stolen articles, injury or property damage.
28.Changes presented the day of the event will take precedence over printed material.
29.Alcohol or glass containers will not be permitted in the infield pit area. Violators including drivers and pit crews will be disqualified.
30.Anyone entering the pit area of the Marshall-Putnam Fair Grounds on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 must sign a Release and Waiver of Liability and Idemnity Agreement for the Marshall-Putnam Fair Association 2007 ATV Pull. Anyone under the age of 18 must also have a parent?s or guardian?s signature on the Release and Waiver of Liability and Idemnity Agreement for the Marshall-Putnam Association 2007 ATV Pull.

Are you wanting pics of the pull afterwards? or?? It is a month away currently.

 

I will realy apprciate it if you can supply some old pictures, we are from south africa and need to learn how this is done.
