If there is any doubt about Clinton's Christmas gift to us to steal tens of millions of our public lands and lock them up as "roadless", just log onto the web site in my sig or the one below to get a wake-up call.

This plan will close unpaved roads, camp sites, even boat launching areas in 38 STATES, & YOURS IS PROBABLY ONE OF THEM!
We have only till Dec 20 to comment on this plot. After that a draft plan will be written to implement this monumental lock out of OUR LAND.
Our quads, mtn bikes, tents, campers, etc,could become relics of a bygone era.
Please don't wait for "George" to do it..write you letter today to express your opposition.
Alho posting this in other forums may be contrary to policy, I feel the urgency warrants it.

This is *really* scary!

Of course, closing that much country is one thing. ENFORCING it is another.

And don't forget, a LOT of the folks that spend time in the forest do own and carry guns ... and I'm sure there are some who would shoot you for a parking space!

Prospector how are you enjoying your Kodiak. I am enjoying mine, dose it seem sporty enough to you after comparing it to a 500 Sporstman quad? I have been asked this many of times.

For those of you who are interested in doing something about the Land Grab, you have easy help. I have 2 form letters which you can e-mail to sites provided under the "So Sad" thread in the Environmental Trails topic. The first few posts are satire, so go to the December 2 reply. In it, I also include a summary of what that di*k Clinton is attempting to do. With just a few mouse clicks, you can make yourselves heard by the appropriate elected officials.

Then you won't have to shoot anyone!
