Some good choices would be 22x11 mudlites, dirtdevils or gators and 22x12 bearclaws. All tires are good on both the trails and in the mud and aren't very heavy with the mudlites weighing the least. I didn't notice a whole lot of power loss with my bearclaws, but I did have to run in 1st gear in the mud a bit more until I put my K&N power kit on.

hey i got 4ply maxxis razrs 22x11x9 on douglas .160 aluminum rims and compared to stock they are 2 pounds lighter per wheel, so 4 pounds less over all. the razrs are great, they dont bog the machine down at all and you still can spin the tires without a problem, i would deffinatly recomend them

You could put on the Goodyear tires that come stock on the Recon. The Recon and the Ozark have the same size tires. Alot of Recon owners will agree that the Goodyear HP are good tires. I have put ALOT of miles on my tires for the last two years and they are just approaching the wear bars. Never had a flat and I've driven over and through alot of trees.
