Default Vision 160 series wheels

It seems that ITP has the market cornered on the aftermarket atv wheel category. Has anybody found the Vision 160s yet? I found them at Big Buck atv and thought they were some of the best looking rims out there and pulled the trigger on those and a set of 26" Mud Lites for my 700EFI. Now of course I'm wondering if there is a reason I haven't heard of these rims before. One of the reasons I really liked them is because of the different front/rear sizes (7" & 8" wide). Anyone have or heard of any negatives with these things?

I agree they are the best looking. I think they should be a good quality wheel because POLARIS offers them on the new 800 AND in their catalog for the 160's.
Other than being heavy I see no downside to them. The new Maxxis and ITP are nice but everyone has them, and at a higher cost.

Where did you end up getting them, I haven't ordered yet.
I was thinking of going 12x7 all around or the traditional 12x7 front and 12x8 rear.

I got mine of all places on ebay...after shipping and handling it costed $261...i bet having 7" in tha front would make turning easier than having 8"...but i prefer the way it looks with a wider stance gives you...mine will be arriving friday hoefully...

I talked to Chris at Vision wheel yesterday , he's a tech. rep. and he said that 13-14 lbs. is the ship weight with caps lugs and boxes, so they are probably more comparable to the others in weight than previously thought.

He also said the backspacing is measured from the mounting surface to the bead seat, not the outer most wheel edge (same for wheel width), for slightly more suspension clearance and a little wider stance. The outer offset measure is not and industry standard or universal.

He recommended the 12x7 front and 12x8 for the rear.

I've had the 160s on since December and they are holding up great. I love the looks but I wish I would have waited until the 161s came out. Those look even better. try Text

Mine arrived last night...they are Beautifull....and i made a mistake and they are the model 161...the weight of jsut tha rim is 11.5 pounds according to my scale...the center caps are permanatly attached...it only took 2 days to deliver(very nice)...they didn't come with valve stems so i had to get som...they were cheap and easy to install...hopefully tommorow they will be sitting underneath my quad...

Those Vision 161s look sweet on your quad!

If you don't mind saying which ebay dealer did you get them from?
