589's Vs. other

I am considering buying mud tires for my new ATV. What can anyone tell me about the 589's pros and cons. Also what set up would you recommend and how will the handeling and performance be different between the two. (Front 26x9x12 Rear 26x10x12) VS (Front 26x10x12 Rear 26x12x12)

I've ran 27" 589's on my P650 for almost 4 years here in central alabama and I absolutely love 'em! (27x9x12 Front + 27x11x12 Rear)
Sand, mud or hardpack they really do great. The wear on them is far better than what I expected, I ride a lot of asphalt and do a few burnouts and still have over 80% tread.
The only negative thing that I can say about them is the weight... they are heavy, which causes wear on the ATV and decreases speed & they will have a slightly rough ride on a smooth surface due to the tread design. They are a 6 ply tread & 6 ply sidewall, That's almost punture proof. Everyone has their own opinion and here's mine... you WON'T be dissappointed with the 589's! Especially in the mud.

I have both 589's and Mud Lites in 27" on type 5C wheels on my '05 Polaris 700 EFI....for pure mud use, the 589s work alittle better than the Mud Lites, they do fair on the trail...The Mud Lites are better all-around....

here are some pics of my machine:

I am running the 27" Mudlites on type 6 wheels with my fabricated aluminum 2" lift spacers. I have no rubbing and my quad sits level now with the spacers installed. I absolutely love my Mudlites, they are great in the snow, mud and everything else.

Hey P500HO, check out my gallery. I make these spacers. I'll PM ya.
