I've heard most/all sand tires are 2 ply in construction so i'm wondering why the big price difference between the Sand Shark and the other two.

Sand Sharks, and Sand Skates are moldded tires, All Scat-Trak are made from a molded tire, All the knobs are ground off, and the paddles are vulcanized to the tire. I have both, and the Skat-Traks are definitely worth the extra money. My Sand Skates are all worn down in the middle, from just riding on the pavement for a little ways. The Skat-Traks show no wear, and I've had them a lot longer.
