kenda front max, vs maxxis front pro vs holeshot xc.
I have narrowed it down to these three tires for the front of my polaris scrambler, I am running 22-11-9 itp holeshot xct's in the rear.
I have never had a problem running two plys in the past and the only tire that would be four ply is ther holshot xc. I would get front pro's or front max's on 190 douglas aluminuims or the holeshot xc on 160 aluminuims this is a result of present funds. what would you guys choose? im looking for a good stearing tire, I don;t go in the mud or rock climb, mainly fast sandy trail and powerline rides. all and any help is appreciated. |

all three of those brands make great tires, i personally love my Holeshot XC's in the front and rear but ive heard lots of great things about the kenda's, and i havent seen to many guys running maxxis tires but just with the type of terrian i ride in if i didnt have holeshots i'd be on maxxis tires, my holeshots work great in the sand and i prolly wouldnt get the kenda's unless u ripped around in mudd here or there, i wouldnt think u'd need that agressive of a tred design if u just ride fast sandy trails

xtreme thanks for the reply.
since when did setting up a quad start being about need can never have two much of a good thing I think I am going to run a holeshot xc upfront to match the xct's out back. they seem like a good tire either that or the holeshot hd's. the maxis tires have a good price but rockymountain only stocks the two ply. I was also looking at dirtdevils as some others like them and they were suggested to me, I want a real aggresive front tread to make the back end real loose. I slide through most turns., |

yah im sure u'll make the right choice, the HD's are great tires to, i have a friend who has them and he really likes them, and i can tell cuz he can through the mud with those babys, but not like my scrammy
