589's or XTR lites..
 

I am trying to deceide what tires to put on a 04.5' Sportsman 700 and 05' 450 Kodiak? I am getting bigfoot kits with type 5 rims. We ride in the snow, rock, hard pack, power lines, and a little mud. I know the 589's are an awsome tire but ride a little rought. What are you thoughts on the purhase??

589's or XTR lites..
 

I'm running the 589's on a 700 Kawie with no problems. The only place I have noticed roughness is asphalt or the shop floor. They seem to be a great trail tire, just a little heavey the 28's I put on dropped the top speed about 10 km/hr. I'll buy another set once these are gone. Anyhow just my 2 cents worth.
