Default TRX250R rear shock

Well I'm pretty sure the rear shock on my 250r is dead (the rear end is really saggin, I have been looking for places to rebuild it and could only come across one in Michigan they gave me a quote of $180 to re-charge/re-oil the shock, put on new seals as well as add on a new bumper piece a to the bottom. I was wonderig how this price stacks up with what any of you guys have paid to have rear shocks rebuit. Was also wondering how complicted it is to get the shock off and than back on once it is rebuit?

Default TRX250R rear shock

I just had my rear shock rebuilt and they did all that and it cost me 199 so thats not bad. Mine was at Grace Performanc in Wadhams dont know in michigan you are at but if you live around their you know Grace. They are a little expensive but I have dealt with them many times and like the service , Mark made a great reputation its a shame he passed on. Anyways its a breeze to put it in, i used a floor jack to support the swing arm and help adjust the height to get the bottom bolt in after i already put the top one in first. A extra hand is always helpful. Oh ya Peak Powersports in Richmond(formely Gaskills) they do good work also alot better then gaskills did
