Rancher 350 4x4 'thinks' it's in Reverse! Killing me!
Ok guys...
I've had my 2001 Rancher 350 4x4 for over 5 years. It's never done anything wrong, and I mean NOTHING wrong. Not a cough, flinch, hiccup, absolutely nothing. I was pulling trees out of my backyard with it the other day and I noticed the reverse light stayed on even after shifting out of Reverse. Stupid me... What do I do? I turn it off, thinking OH.. Just shut it down and start it back up and I'll be good to go. I am sure you know the rest of the story! D-E-A-D. The started won't engage because the machine "thinks" it is in Reverse. It's not in reverse I rode the thing around a bit more after the light stayed on. It shifts just fine. I'm thinking sensor... The only question is..... Where the *ell is the thing???? Can anybody help me..... I need my little utlity tractor... It's spring time and I have a bunch of yard work to do!!!! Sincerely, Bnash88 |
