Thanks for the help, I've made up my tire decision and the winner is......->G. MR.
Well after mucho research on this and other boards I went ahead and ordered another set of Goodyear Mudrunners for my P-650 from tires unlimited.com, 27" for $383 shipped.
I've put over 5,000 miles on my current set of 26" mudrunners (two different quads,~4,000 on Prairie 400 & 1330 on P-650) and they still have 5/8" tread on them on the front, 3/4" on the back. No BS. I've driven them mostly in the woods, but with a lot of south & west Texas rock and thorns thrown in. No problems. Hook up great, climb great, go through the mud I encounter without worry. I looked at all the rest, but for what I do another set of Mudrunners is what I really wanted. Why am I replacing my current set with 5/8" & 3/4" tread? - I'm giving then back to the quad they came off of when I sold it to my father. The P-650 stockers he is running have just about had it so I figured it was a good time for me to upgrade. I know there are a lot of great tires out there, but for those willing to spend for a quality trail & mud tire the Mudrunners are worth considering. And they are Made In the USA - gotta love that. |
