Kenda Bearclaw Review

I went to take my Arctic Cat on it's maiden voyage after being down for repairs and new tires. Honestly I went with the Bearclaws because Rocky Mt ATV gave me a great deal for a set. ( 196.00 shipped to my door!) I was impressed by the quick service from them and I really liked the way the tread looked. They were aggressive without being ridiculous. Of course the real test is on the trail.

The conditions on that day were slick ,clay type mud. I noticed immediately that the tires had a lot of bite in the slick mud. Also they "cleaned out" really well. ( The rider behind me commented on that every time he got to close. lol) They also did very well in fairly deep mud.
We also took it over a few spots that were very rocky and the tires did great!

They seem to be a good compromise for a rider who wants a tire that is equally good in the mud and is also a good trail tire. I highly recommend them.

I had them on a 2000 500 4x4 scrambler and they hooked up everywhere I went. I now have a newer machine with mudlights and they don't ride as nice or seem to hookup as well. I am going to try the bear claws on my sportsman 600.

I have them on my old moto 4 250 and they wear like iron and the do really well in the clay and mud for a 2x4 I was very impressed with them. The only thing I have noticed is in really lose gravel or creek peebles that it tends to dig down because of only being 2x4 andgreat gripping tires.

I had them on a '96 Wolverine 350 and also on a '93 300 Bayou 4x4 They were awesome... If I didn't jump on the ITP bandwagon for Mudlites or Radials' now I'd still be using Bear Claws.

In fact... the only tire that wore as good as the Bear Claws is my new XTR's. But, that being said they are double the price. So next time I'll probably go back to "The Claws". Just for monitary purposes.
