Ordered some 27" mudlite XTR's on 14" SS212 black rims, just wondering how they are in the snow?

They perform very well in the snow. Only problem I have is high centering! LOL!

Hello,
I have a Bombardier OutlanderXT 800cc. I want a tire that is good in mud and snow.
This tire seems like it might be the one. Stock tires are 26" radials, thought I would go up to 27". I just use the quad for my hunting, I don't ride super fast (I'm to old for that (68)
What is "high centering"

Welcome to the forum Hunter. High centered is when your frame is touching but your tires aren't. Or they're barely touching so you aren't getting traction. Been there, done that myself. In snow and mud and hung up on stumps too.

XTR's do very well in snow and mud. They also give a really good ride, much more stability than the stockers. I got stuck in a snow bank after sliding off the driveway and the XTR's pulled me up and out no problem. That Bombardier should have no problems turning 27" tires.
