2000 sportsman 500/bi/tri claws/rubbing//// HELP
#1
I just bought a 2000 500 sportsman with 27x9.75's bi claws on the front and 27x12's on the rear, they are rudding the front fenders when i hit just about any bump, seems like i remember a post that said you could cut the floorboards and move the fender back or install a front lift or install heavy springs up front, if you know about this please respond. Also on the highway top speed on the odometer is 48 mph, now i know the speedo is off due to the larger tires i'am quessing around 5mph, what do you think!!!!

as you said, progressive springs will work,a lift kit will work, and you can also buy h/d springs from polaris..i ended up using ideas from the forums and made my own lift kit,i made 2" spacers and they come out in less than 10 mins..reason i made my own was so i could take it out easily enough in case i needed warranty work..the spacers i made are cut in half and slip into the spring pocket normally where the spring sits and it also sits inside the spring about an inch so they cant pop out, this way i dont have to take the springs off the struts to remove them..you can also unbolt your floorboards, redrill new holes to push them back, too noticable i think if the dealer gets the quad back for anything..i have a 5 yr ext warranty so i dont want to void it..good luck, any questions let me know..ill try to get some pics this w/e of them as others have asked to see them..maybe i should start selling them too? ,there easy enough to make
