I think the Maxxis Bighorns are supposed to be pretty good in the snow and most situations. There not the greatest in the mud, but for over all performance I've only heard good things.

ITP Terracross Are good in the snow and all around. Had them on a Griz 700 and it helped it stay on top of the snow when the Rhino and AC would not. THe Rhino had stock tires and the AC had 589's which keep digging to china.

I have plowed snow for 3 years with Bighorns. Best tire i have had in the snow yet. Actually best all-around tire i have ever had. They shine on rock and hard pack trails. Handle great on the road, wear like iron, and are tuff against rocks. Only thing they are not GREAT at is mud. Not bad in mud, definately better than stock, but you cant beat a dedicated mud tire in the soup. Having said that i have heard that Outlaw MST are good in snow and mud.

I've been to a lot of forums researching for myself, and I'm about to pick up a set of 28" High Lifter Outlaws myself- from what everyone says who has'em, they are the best in snow and mud- but a little bumpy on the hard packed surface.
