Default 02 Rancher 350 4x4 ES Tire Size Question

I have an 02 Rancher 350 4x4 ES.....
I have a 2" High Lifter Lift and ITP SS Rims right now and im running 25x8x12" on front and 25x10x12" on rear

Im wanting to go with the ITP Mega Meyham tires, but smallest they come is 27x9x12" and 27x11x12"....

ITP TIRES - The World's #1 ATV Aftermarket Tire & Wheel Source :: MEGA MAYHEM

Will they fit or do I need to go with the regular Mayhem's in 25x8x12" and 25x10x12" OR 26x9x12" and 26x11x12"

ITP TIRES - The World's #1 ATV Aftermarket Tire & Wheel Source :: BajaCross

Below is pic of Rancher currently with the 25's..... Also, I know the 25x10x12" will even fit on the front without rubbing or limit turning, ive put them on the front to make sure, so the 9" wide for front im not worried about, its just the 27" tall and the 27x11" rear....

A 2" bigger tire only needs 1 more inch of clearance and with your lift you should have plenty of room.

thanks....

after talking to several ppl, im just going to go with the regular Mayhem's, in the 26x9x12" and 26x11x12"..... I don't want to add too much stress on my axles and motor, since its only a 350, if it was a 500 or bigger, then i'd gladly go with the 27's....

You would fit those 26x9x12" and 26x11x12 even without your lift. Your only 1/2" taller and 1/2" wider towards the ATV. The other 1/2" heads towards the ground and side air if you think about it.

I,m in the same boat, thinking about 26"X9 and 26"x10 Mudlite XLs or stay with 25" but I wonder if its to much of a power loss for a 350 and having steel rims do not help things.

Let me know how it behaves for you.

ill let u know if I notice any power loss going from each of the 3 sizes, I have my stock steel rims and tires, then I have the 12" ITP SS Rims and 25" Mud Lite's and im going to order the 26" Mayhem's tomorrow and put them on the SS rims, too.... so ill be able to tell easily if I lose any power....

Just in case you you don,t know the Mayhems have only a 1" lug at 26". Less then even a Mudlite XL 25" with 1.125" lug.

You have to go to Mayhem 27" to get there taller 1.5" Lug.

The Maxxis Zilla looks good. There 6 ply yet superlight Maxxis Zilla
Example
a 27x11 Zilla with a 1.19" lug is 23.4lbs
a smaller 26x11 Mayhem with 1" lug is 27lbs.
The Zilla 26"x9 with 1.19" lug is 20.7lbs vs Mayhems 26x9 ,25lbs. again with shorter 1" lug.

I,m tossing the zilla idea around and they cost less then Mudlite XLs, kinda to good to be true thow.

thanks for bringing up the Zilla's, I had completely forgot about them.... really leaning towards them now, to replace my Mud Lite's.... I just want something better then the Mud Lite's in the mud, but still be able to ride on trails and my yard and stuff without being beat to death by the *****....

LOL, right.... but I was just debating between the Mayhem's and Zilla's.... I ordered the Zilla's this morning, they should be in on the 10th, hopefully.... I got 26x9x12" for front and 26x11x12" for rear.... and I just got my wheel spacers in for the rear, so brings the rear tires more out for better stability and looks A TON better now....
