98 250 trailblazer transmission

I've tried adjusting the linkeage and no luck. It's a shame that polaris doesn't offer the parts. Having no luck finding the fork or the forward dog gear. Any leads out there? I've been watching eBay and Craigslist. Hate to buy a used tranny just to find it has the same problem. Wondering if anyone has tried machining the fork?

Shame it's coming down to this, but you have to figure it's not like buying an auto part from a vehicle where millions of them were sold and parts may be still available for an auto that's 30 or 40 years old. The limited run of this particular shift fork, used for about 3 years only,on a couple different atvs and the total amount of machines sold sort of dictate when parts become NLA. Rule of thumb is still 10 years now if you're lucky on a lot of parts.Just have to keep your eye out on ebay and take a chance on a used transmission. Places are parting out old machines daily. Plus this one piece twin shift fork was a big improvement on the earlier(1994) non milled, pinned shift forks that did fail and was upgraded to what you have now. For the most part I don't remember having to replace hardly any of them over the years. There's
still hope on finding a good one, just may take a little time. Having one made would be fairly expensive if I was to guess. Her's an example of a single milled shift fork. Couldn't find a dual one.
